You wait for ages for a bus and then two arrive at once. Tut.

This saying (which I invented by the way) is the Londoner’s standard reaction to almost anything that happens at anytime, anywhere and in any context.

Oddly however, I doesn’t really apply here as I haven’t spent any time at all waiting for any Ommadon albums to arrive because until last Thursday when the package from Collective arrived through the letterbox, I didn’t even know they existed. Now I know they exist, far from tutting and wondering aloud why two albums have arrived in such close succession following a lengthy wait, my immediate response is to wonder how I might acquire the ones I haven’t yet heard.

Ommadon make punishing, uncompromising drone music which is perfect for listening to whilst hitting a local radio DJ with a hammer until their body is completely liquified.

First class.
