This is variously tagged as doom, drone or psychedelia, but I reckon there is a much better moniker
to stick on this, which may or may not mean anything to the reader, dependent on age. This is:
Ambient. Straight up, mid-1990s style: Ambient. And nowt wrong with that. Six stonerishly titled
tracks of dense and mollifying hybrid electro instrumental that have their time and place in the wee
small hours of the morning. This is a three quarters of an hour long sound landscape that plays out
like a film score, somewhere between Vangelis and Trent Reznor’s efforts on the Social Network.
If you like that sort of thing, and if you went a bundle for Loop Guru, the Orb, Underworld or that
whole Megadog thing (remember that?) then you’ll love this.
