Last time I received two CDs from the same multi-instrumentalist responsible for this project and “I am a Man with a San Tropez Tan”, this half of his creative psyche was undoubtedly the one I preferred and this time it’s no different.
Darker, denser and considerably more of a dirge than the more upbeat San Tropez-based work, this is music for people who preferred Ally Sheedy to Molly Ringwald in The Breakfast Club and I’m talking about the period when she was sitting at the back winding thread around her finger until it turned blue.
