This is a band from Vicenza in Italy but you won’t need your English-Italian dictionary here as they sing in English and offer up four tracks of energetic and punky post hardcore with a catchy emo slant. What I like about this is the strain in the hoarse vocals, the gutsy lyrics and the thick bass sound plus it’s all executed with the kind of energy and verve that make any comparisons to Spy Versus Spy not unjust. My favourite songs on here are the two that book-end the four tracks. “The Rain” is full of melancholy but driven at the same time while “Waiting” features nostalgic lyrics and drifts off with the vocals wistfully telling someone “the clouds are fading as light in your eyes did, you’ll always be my friend”. It’s worth noting that five labels saw fit to get together and release this one. Definitely worth checking this band out.
