Andy Malcolm must burn a lot of incense sticks because I’ve just opened a package he’s sent me and it’s overpowering. He tells me there’s a lot of odd stuff in it (and I don’t think he means the incense) but this first record I’ve pulled out couldn’t be more normal. Look at the cover art for a start. I’d never guess from this and the actual music that the band are from Spain. It’s clear they are copying the early UK punk style. Fair play but I don’t personally have much time for it. The album feels like it’s going through the motions; there’s nothing to hook me in. They can play their instruments, the singer dude is a little bit Joe Strummer at times. That’s about it.
