It would be churlish to criticise some of the members of Wrong for not making music that sounds like their brilliant old band Capsule, so I won’t. The energy and volume remains though for what is some absolutely total early to mid (i.e. good) period Helmet worship. You may well know the drill. Chunky, propulsive riffs with drill-sergeant yelling over the top urging you to move your arse. There are even nods to Page Hamilton’s jazz freakouts that act as solos atop the juggernaut riffing. Burly, satisfying and absolutely not deviating from the rulebook in any way, this is a fine way to spend 11 minutes.
