This is some pretty gentle and nice indie with falsetto male vocals from Triathalon from Georgia in the US. Their Bandcamp page page suggests they’ve been doing this for at least four years and there’s even a review of them on this website but I’ve not heard them before. It’s kind of reverby in a similar way to Real Estate while some of the slower songs remind me of that Totally Mild album that came out on Bedroom Sucks this year. “Slip’N” might be the standout track – it’s a long one at over seven minutes and its gentle, restrained opening half gives way to a bigger, grooving second half. I’ve had this album on a fair bit in the evening lately – it’s one that you can kind of let wash over you – worth checking out if any of the aforementioned bands are your cup of tea.
