Sunwolf, Sunwolf, Sunwolf.
These are the words which I inexplicably shouted to myself when I saw the email from AM which contained this new album.
Growling back into my consciousness since 2014’s “Beholden to Nothing and No One” Sunwolf have given us another awe-inspiring album of semi-instrumental thunder, signalling its presence with a mighty roar to make the pretenders cower.
Defiant, deliberate, commanding music to play whilst preparing for battle, and whether that’s battle with a 400 foot tall ogre or a desk drawer that simply will not open, with Sunwolf behind you and these wordless hymns as your battle cry, there’s only ever going to be one winner.
