This is a brilliant mixture of several different styles of music amongst them folk, bluegrass and gospel, all held together by the incredible vocalising of the singer which is occasionally reminiscent of the late Jeff Buckley. It’s the sort of thing which if Sainsbury’s or John Lewis licensed one of the songs for their Christmas advert, the album would sell twenty million copies overnight, but as they’re unlikely to do that, it’s up to people like you to tell as many people as possible about it, so they can share in the warmth and the wonder of listening to it alone in their bedroom whilst a lone candle flickers in the corner.
