With the first song here, Bad Noids seem to be almost coherent. Huh? ‘Into The Future’ stumbles fuckwittedly about, showing off an enjoyably sloppy Stooges/New York Dolls vibe that eventually dissolves into a madcap scrabble. After that we enter more familiar territory with ’12 Years Old’, a manic, snotnosed stab of 80s hardcore, and closer ‘My Friend Greg’, which spends its brief time straddling those two opposing worlds and ends up sounding like a helium-voiced child fronting a pre-Rollins Black Flag. Confusion, of course, reigns, and is only heightened by a sleeve that seemingly depicts the radioactive freak from ‘The Day The World Ended’ making a piece of toast. Time for a lie down, everyone.
