Hailing from Barcelona, Power Burkas play garage punk. The quality varies, Track 3, ‘Sangoneres’, for example, never gets going and I care little for the singing or the guitar riffs. Song 8, ‘Atzucac’, on the other, begins much faster and has me interested. This harder side to the band is much more appealing… until they then slow it down again.
