This is noisy rock music from folks who were in Econoline and Hey Colossus and it’s a great debut. I struggle to cope with the extreme aspects of the sound normally – watching Tractor numerous times in the past was enjoyable, and I seemed to cope better over time, but sometimes it all got a bit too much. Here Newts only hint on the harsher aspects and are much more melodic – they even turn off the distortion at the start of the third track and do a proper singing number – in between there are plenty of interesting riffs and shouting – what more do you want.
