Odd one. In many regards, this is great. On another level, I don’t quite trust it. It’s on-point to a fault, and delivered flawlessly. This is a compliment, but also part of the problem. There’s some Denunzio to the vocals, while the music has the bruising bombast of ‘Feel The Darkness’-era Poison Idea, or maybe that first Fucked Up LP. Sometimes I even get the sense of a straightedge Zeke or Turbonegro, if you can imagine such a thing. Countless spins and I’m still on the fence. I’ll have to get back to you on this one, k?
