Labels: Total Punk
Review by: Alex Deller
Four tracks of gummy-eyed snotbag muck of a type you’d expect from the venerable Total Punk imprint. You get hints of The Reatards, Tokyo Electron and a less artily-inclined Sauna Youth, along with a liberal dose of some obscuro KBD/garage monstrosity I’m too tired to properly identify (Tazers? Nubs? The Vectors?). The vocals are grating and Dalek-y but the guy can still get his grubby fingers round the throat of a tune well enough, and the fact that it seems to have been recorded onto wax cylinder and then onto an iPhone obviously stands things in excellent stead as far as aesthetics are concerned. All in all rather a winner, then.
