Brief lil three-tracker here which carries on from where 2016’s ‘Dark Abstraction’ left off: dank, filthy death metal that’s chock-full of gnarled riffing and wormy vocals. The sound is violent and direct, ragged at the edges but maintaining coherence and a wonderful sense of physical presence. Solos scrabble in and out while things tip between frantic blasts and leaden lurches, and considering the whole mucky shitstorm clocks in at a brisk 12 minutes it’s a safe enough bet that fans of Krypts, Immolation and Autopsy will be promising to give up their yellowing eyeteeth for a little bit more of the same.
