Black Dice - s/t - 7

Yikes. This is some scary music here from a band on Tonie Joy’s Vermin Scum label. First up, it’s a 4 track one-sided 7″. And the first song is the longest. The last 3 songs are all very short, violent affairs featuring a vocalist who sounds like he is not in the best of condition. Spastic, scatter gun, chaotic hardcore that is part Angel Hair, part Mohinder. That means that what you end up with is a very abrasive, and not particularly friendly piece of vinyl. The longer song is a little more sensible, but the vocalist is completely fucked up, and the rest of the band are probably on medication too. I am at a loss for comparisons.

Um, that’s all really. Nice packaging. And they’ve also had a 7″ on Gravity, ok?
