Labels: Electric Human Project

As the first track lazily wobbles into its own peculiar groove, I’m totally reminded of Dead Meadow’s hazily dope-drenched fug-rock, all elastic guitar lines and syncopated drums. This is a good thing that turns into an even better thing when that all changes into some low down and dirty bull-headed Karp-esque monster riffing. From then on, it’s a fine, artless balancing act between the two, with the band being very clever at playing dumb, where nothing outstays its welcome, except maybe that big jam at the end of the album, but even that is some seriously good shit. Noise-rock worthy of the name!
