Kepler share a lot with bands like Low, Codeine or the Red House Painters. Brittle and vulnerable, hushed lullabyes sung in soft voices for those who are already sleeping. Minimalist whispers that hang by the frailest silver threads. Mournful voices and minor keys. Pianos and xylophones. Muted, funereal drums and empty spaces that should not be filled at any cost. Loss and disillusionment. Staring from an open window across your town as dusk falls and wishing you were somewhere else, but not knowing quite where. All these things, and just two sad songs.
