The long awaited Shank LP is here, and as predicted, is great. Fast, heavy and nicely brutal. If you’ve heard any of Shank’s 7″s then (unsurprisingly) it’s in the same territory. They actually remind of Left For Dead/Swarm a bit actually! Screamed, hoarse vocals and fucking excellent pissed off lyrics and song explanations. Lyrically they are dry, sarcastic, opinionated and quite rightly unashamed of it. They don’t suffer fools gladly, that’s for sure. In fact they would probably kill all fools if they had their way. One of the best bands in the UK right now, without a doubt. Now if they’d only play down south a bit more! An absolutely storming LP. Lovely.
