I continue my march through a review pile stacked up to the rafters with cds I don’t dare inflict on any of our other reviewers in case they send me anthrax through the mail in return. Strange World aren’t really that bad compared to some of the excrement that gets shoved through my letterbox, but its just not really the kind of music I should be reviewing. Its inoffensive, low key rock music with a subtle groove to it, going pretty slow. I guess they sound like a pub band that has lots of records from the 60s and 70s. From the photos, the guys in the band are all advanced in years and they’ve probably been rocking out for years, which explains why they are at least tight and have a good grasp of song writing. I’m not really sure who would be into this cd. The closest comparison I came come up with is that if the Driven were one paced and the vocals weren’t as good. You wasted your time reading this review you know, sorry.
