Saw this band one beery night many moons ago as I caught up with some buddies and slugged back drinks. For whatever reason I thought they had more oi-ish tendencies, but on this cd (a somewhat monstrous collection of 29 tracks spanning the years between 1998 and 2001) they play a snottier, more melodic brand of hardcore that calls me to toss the Dead Kennedys and early Bad Religion into my cauldron of comparisons. Fun, sincere and energetic. Not one I’ll be pondering into the early hours of the morning on any given night, but something to sling on for a change of pace when I’m packing envelopes or cooking up some dreadful stink in the kitchen. Good effort.
