Back from the brink, and all the better for it, Japan’s blasters hit back with this album (which completes the quick one-two started by their split with grind supergroup Venomous Concept) of their class trademark heavy hardcore grind. 324 are stripped-down in the extreme, but the sheer brutality of it means that it can get a bit heavy-going over the course of an album (or maybe I’m just getting old). I’m not convinced that this quite tops the previous album ‘Boutoku No Taiyo’ (‘Sun Of Desecration’) either but the riffs still rule the vocals are still hoarse and drums still totally fucking blast.
