Canada’s Kursk have been knocking out the hits lately, and their two efforts here provide more of their deliriously scatterbrain art-damaged grindy hardcore. It’s totally pulverising, but bizarre and endearing with it. It will probably piss you off.
Damage Digital are from Japan and I definitely have an unlistened-to LP of theirs from a few years ago called ‘Moss’ somewhere, which is dumb because you can’t really go wrong with grind from the land of the rising sun (arguably). Anyway, their five tracks are completely blistering, changing tempos all over the shop, memorable riffs galore and dual vocalled mayhem from one guttural boy and one shrieking girl.
