Like Andy I wasn’t much fussed for last year’s Limits LP, but this, brief as it is, represents a swell enough taste of things to come. ‘Last Orders’ bowls out of the gate with a strange, slightly drunken swagger and sounds almost like a cockney sparrer Headcoats as it reels and howls towards a clattering conclusion while over on the flip ‘Selling Point’ zips by in more familiar garage-gone-hc fashion, choppy buzzsaw guitars whistling through the air while their singer stamps his feet and hollers as tunefully as he can over the top of it all. Pretty decent it has to be said, even if the whole damn thing weighs in at just three puny minutes or so. More like this, please!
