Aloha! Wadge is a drum-machine powered grind band that thematically explores the culture and heritage of Hawaii. If you are still reading, then you are either already a Wadge fan or in the bloody band. Joke grind is never going to win any Grammies, but this daft blown-out as all hell racket doesn’t really put a step wrong when it comes to satisfyingly destructive riffs and burly vocals, and since it’s only currently available a freebie download from scene stalwart Jay “Agoraphobic Nosebleed” Randall’s new net- label Grindcore Karaoke, you can’t even complain about the price. Pass me a Mai Tai and inject it straight into my eye.
