Most of this sounds like Popol Vuh. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, quite the reverse in fact, I think it’s high time we enjoyed a renaissance of interest in the works of Popol Vuh and maybe this split CD is where it’s going to start. Popol Vuh were the only people ever to have lived who could make the sound of grown men blowing into pipes sound like anything other than grown men blowing into pipes.
No higher praise is possible for these works by Ein Skopudhr and Mistsorrow.
