When I bought the download of this (which I something I rarely do, so this must be really good), the band was called Spite House and the EP was called Screen Wives. Due to some legal jibber-jabber, there’s been a switcheroo so don’t be confused. This is worth the asking fee for this total beast of a RIFF one hundred seconds into “Long List Of Slug Names”, but now that I revisit it, the whole thing is riddled with the damn things. Anyway what you’re getting is some neato heavy and awkward post-hardcore that arguably sits alongside fellow youthful UK bands like Skylark, Plaids, Kind Eyes, Wooderson and Shield Your Eyes that have their roots in that 90’s US Gravity Records-esque (proper) emo scene. Discordance and twistiness abounds with a quintessentially British oddness to it. Not sure if this is getting a physical release but consume it in any which way you can.
