Dunno how, but somehow NO have managed to sound even more fractured and frantic on this, their second 12″. From start to finish it’s simply ‘orrible, their mangled, feral hardcore put together like a nailbomb that’s been carefully designed to rip, shred and puncture the fragile human form. The music jars and jangles; a thin, rangy sound that jabs insistently at your brain while someone hollers horrible words mere inches from your tear-stained face. While there are only seven songs and the whole thing clocks in at well under 15 minutes it’s nevertheless thoroughly bloody exhausting, a strain on the mind, ears and chest that’s all but overpowering and kinda like being forced to bob for apples in a barrel full of rats, nails and rusted bits of tin.
