Labels: Secret Mission
Review by: Oli Saunders
Radioactivity have continued the Marked men legacy and by now you might be sick of the pop punk garage vibes. Not me. Whilst the sounds of both bands are certainly strongly linked, Radioactivity with a slight lineup change from the Marked Men have managed to make a sufficiently fresh sound. The vocals are still mostly indecipherable and the band never yield lyrics. The guitars and drums are still fairly samey and grooving. But it clicks. It it one of those beautifully simple styles of music that cannot be beaten. Over really quickly, this 7” remains top drawer and is the interlude between last year’s album and a second one hopefully coming up soon on Dirtnap.
