ACxDC are a band I’ve given fairly short shrift over the years. In my head, I lump them alongside Pretty Little Flower and Hummingbird Of Death, because they all play competent fast stuff and all have shitty names that don’t suggest I need to take them too seriously. This album’s solid enough on a sonic level and about what I expected: howlingly fast, stop-on-a-dime precise and mulching together vocals that veer between vomitous and high/screechy. It’s unlikely to provide an appropriate soundtrack for the worst, angriest or most harrowing moments in your life, but if you’re looking for something fast and crazy to chuck beer around to and point your finger in the air at then it’ll doubtless do just fine.
