Infest and Assfactor 4 were casually dropped into this band’s press release, two impressive names and two of my all-time favourites. To be honest the sonic links are kinda tenuous and not comparisons I’d necessarily make, but Fucking Invincible’s racket is still a bruising and engaging one. It mingles multiple strands of hardcore and offers up tearing blasts of dissonance and bouts of pugilistic thumpiness, the band bounding sharply from one track to the next amid samples and splenetic, throat-shredded vocals. If pushed for parallels I’d suggest a more powerviolence-inclined iteration of Ritual Mess: not a bad chord to strike, and one that should make plenty of people plenty happy indeed.
