A year after their first EP, Mercy Killings release this 5 track 7″ of pretty harsh sounding USHC. Imagine Kings of punk played by someone like Bombenfall or Totalitar and you’d be in the right ball park. I wouldn’t call it totally memorable but it’s definitely a solid release and has a lot of piss and vinegar energy that makes it worth more than just a few spins. Members of Direct Control and Wasted Time play in this band, which maybe why I was expecting a bit more considering the quality of those bands collective back catalogue. Look forward hearing some new songs never the less and hopefully getting more into it.
