The vocals on here will be familiar if you’ve listened to Twisted before as this is Livi from Twisted, and the band also features members of The Fairweather Band and Deadlines. Livi’s vocals are more restrained here than in Twisted and are sung over a melodic kind of post punk backing. There are three songs and the pick of the bunch for me is the measured and restrained opener, “Blue Slush”. Apparently these songs were put together in a weekend and there’s no saying whe band will ever do anything else again but I hope they do as this is good stuff.
