Neat six-track demo from these Cleveland punkers which takes on topics like drinking, jerks, menstruation and, praps unsurprisingly, poppers. The music’s chunky, driving and clearly-defined, insistently grooving away and providing the perfect vehicle for the yelpy, all-over-the-place female vocals. The thing closes with a Comes cover (‘Public Circle’) which is a fair enough indicator as to how the band sound, and while they don’t attain the same levels of coruscating bliss as the original you can hardly fault ’em for coming up a little short. All in all: yeah, a right good ‘un.
