Necrosic is a new five-piece featuring Autopsy’s Eric Cutler, and truth be told, the (rotten) apple hasn’t fallen too far from the tree. This EP features four songs that are succinct, brutal and capable of liquefying bowels at twenty paces, the band proffering a torrent of viscous brown slime amid which you can detect lopped-off body parts in varying states of decay. The vocals roar, the riffs come thick and fast and there’s little to want for if you’re seeking a pungent dose of atavistic gloop that could’ve been scraped straight from the mortuary floor at any point in the last 30 years.
