Four tracks of sharp, abrasive hardcore which follow on nicely from the band’s demo tape. Things twist, turn and snap, the guitar sound scraping savagely away at your inner ear and neatly complementing the rapid-fire yap of the singer’s snarky delivery. As with associated Austin acts Vaaska and Impalers there are elements at play here that confuse and confound despite the trad hardcore strictures Strutter work within, raising them above the herd and keeping you coming back for further exploratory listens despite the mauling you receive every time the 7″ takes another spin.
