Origami Horses - In Love And In Dub - CD (2015)

Labels: Metal Postcard
Review by: Oli Saunders

Origami Horses return with their quirky brand of soft rock music. It sounds very different to the last EP I reviewed but I presume only one band would choose such a name. ‘Should We Practice More’ is slow and steady and has interesting parts, though doesn’t hook me into the album. ‘The King of Happenstance’ is a highlight and is the best that I’ve heard of the band so far. They experiment throughout the album but it leaves me feeling that they still don’t know what their sound is. A bit more punch needed.
