Labels: self released
Review by: Oli Saunders
This is Pog’s 15th release but my first listen, and it’s good value. Hailing from Brighton, they play multi-instrumental folk music; there are seven members, playing keyboards, clarinet, drums, accordian, violin, bass and guitar. They create a lively affair, with Paul’s vocals the contrasting aspect, tinged with sadness. The closest comparison I can make is The Moody Blues with the energy of Madness; overall a pleasant listen.
