A tasty new morsel from riff-slinging duo INTRCPTR, which nicely picks up where their debut release left off. The two weighty tracks offer up some effortless roll n’ rumble, sounding vast but at the same time plush enough at the edges that’re you’re swept along by the grooves rather than flattened by them. Kyuss, Floor and Torche shorn of vocals all serve as fine points of reference, though the urgent delivery and fleeting moments of melodic, math-smashed tricksiness also recall another noisy two-piece – That Fucking Tank.
