Heavy-hitting stuff that sounds like High On Fire offcuts being played by folks raised on Clevo hardcore. While I’m certainly down with that as a principle, the reality here is maybe stodgier than you might hope – there’s loads of bareknuckle power and brutish forward motion, but the stolid songwriting and grit-free production mean this might be an immediately engaging listen, but not one you’ll keep coming back to.
