Boring trendy Lost Prophets-y types”¦supposedly “emo’ and supposedly “metal’ – an ill-conceived genre if ever there was one. Look “” you know the deal “” its basically pop for the kiddies who like the sound of big guitars. Poppy-punk type vocals a la Finch et al with hints of a colin from hundred reasons type croon, over basic basic basic riffs and songs that are just sort of there and aren’t in the least bit interesting. No remarkable guitar work and not even any amusing DJ-ing/riff-type efforts to deter from the predictability and monotony on show here. I don’t even have a problem with the whole “trendy’ thing- it doesn’t bother me- it’s just that this just sounds tried, tame, and gutless. Uninspiring.
