I went to see Dj/Rupture with Kid606 last night. They both fucking destroyed! Anyway I picked this limited cd up at the gig and its amazing. It’s as good as the Minesweeper Suite cd, may be even better.
It kicks off with a smashing mix of Missy Elliot and some ragga track, this is way more vocal led rather than beat led which is unlike Dj/Rupture but as the cd progresses it turns into a total drum n bass mash up, in fact at times its almost like the evil Bad Company with help from The Bug! Totally brutal and as nuts as any silly spazz-core band! By track nine the more folky and ethnic world influences creep in which I really enjoyed on the last cd and I do here too but I prefer the more nuts tracks. If you see this at the gig I totally advise you to get it, it’s incredible and one of the best cds i’ve heard for ages!!!!
