That might be enough for get some people to go out and buy it already, so they’ll have no need to read what’ll be a pretty a negative review.
I can’t get my head round this sort of thing at all. Eight tracks, averaging over six minutes. It does both the rock thing, and the emo thing, but in a very messy, arty, all over the shop fashion. One minute they’re indulging in a scratchy guitarfest, and then all of a sudden it slows down for a nice break. I quite like these bits, but the absence of vocals for long periods of time renders the songs as near instrumentals, which gets to be a bit of a drag over a whole album. There are not enough bits to lighten the mood, and if you’re not careful, you’ll just end up with a headache from trying too hard.
At times I hear a bit of Kerosene 454, but I haven’t listened to that album for a month or so, so I could be wrong, but whatever, this is nowhere near as good. It’s all a bit testing for the likes of me, someone with not enough patience to get involved in the intricate complexities of the noise they are making. Guess I’m just a pop fool. So shoot me.
