Devil Doll - Sacrilegium - CD (2003)

Labels: Renaissance
Review by: Chris Bress

Oh my goodness!!

If you, like me, fucking love the music of Goblin and Magma as well the fucking fantastic soundtracks to such amazing films like The Omen, The Wicker Man and most Hammers you should check this out.

This group (or orchestra) comprises of ten people (not including the eight piece devil choir) and they sound as massive as they should do.

The singer sounds incredible, it’s very pompous but it really doesn’t matter because his voice is so fucking scary and brutally honest sounding. He fuses the great vocal style of Antony, David Tibet and the singer from King Crimson to a devastating effect.

With this being just one track at just under an hour long you need some patience, but if your awake in the middle of a frosty winters night put this on and you will honestly be scared to the point of death.

Absolutely amazing.
