I *think* this is a split release between the bands Orthrelm and Touchdown. A bit unsure as this promo came with fuck all accompanying it, and there is a slight switch in sound about a quarter to half way through, so I am assuming it is another band. Anyway, both bands are duos. Orthrelm being guitar and drums, and Touchdown being bass and drums. Sadly, while each member of each band is technically awesome at their instrument, both bands seem to just noodle away and go nowhere. Orthrelm are my pick out of the two. They are a lot noiser and have lots of blastbeats and undistinguishable guitar lines. But when I want to listen to something like this, I’d rather listen to something like Lightning Bolt and Hella as they are both much more interesting. Sorry chaps!
