Hirameka Hi-Fi - Sprezzatura - CD (2002)

Labels: Gringo
Review by: Andrew Jadowski

This really is the tits! It’s jagged riffs a go go from the beginning, some softly sung words and the wonderful shouty screamy bits tussling agitatedly with prickly guitars, sexxxxy bass and sparse drums giving “˜sprezzatura’ an intensely tuneful edge that previous releases lacked in whole. Honest, you can sing along and hum the tunes when you’re not even listening to it. Out of the eight tracks here there are no stinky fillers, even when I got to the title track, a relatively calm instrumental, I was still totally engrossed! The hifi’s expand on the previous sound incorporating some wikkid effects really subtly, check the piano that comes in at the end of “˜the sum’ and the way it gels with that awesome soloing! This is an awesome album! Buy it now! Asshole!
