wowowowser! it’s hard to believe that this group is is just bass+drums+vocals! the album pogos between long instrumental tacks (with quiet purring bass, odd popping and blipping sounds and mathy drum beats) and shorter excursions in which the vocalist appears to be tring to win an ‘i sound like bobby gillespie’ competiton. some of the longertracks really reminded me of Hovercraft only nowhere near as noisey. it is a really good cd tho’, it’s only down fall is it’s length, about an hour, which does draaaaaaaaaaaaaag slightly.
