New Action Four - s/t - 7

From what I can gather, these two tracks (entitled “œNew Action One” and “œNew Action Two”) are the only things this band ever laid down on record. Also, there is no date to tell when they recorded the damn thing. I’d presume it was a few years ago now.

Anyways, NA4 is at least one guy from Thumbnail and three other people making a loud racket. Their style is very mid 90’s Gravity influenced, playing out of control, chaotic hardcore noise. John Henry West springs to mind in places, the wrenched vocals are a long the same lines. They are also throwing in some lashings of noisy feedback. I’m thinking Black Dice for some reason, I guess it’s the sheer fucked-upped-ness that seems to emanate from this disc. The second song is my favourite of the two, careering a long and having a good mixup of the screams and some urgent “œtalked” vocals.

Two songs, one sided vinyl (some are etched apparently). You should have a fair idea if you want this or not.
