A month or so ago I went to visit some friends in Ramsgate, we had a great night out,
Tapas, fruit beers, all topped off by some late opening bar that had the worst Blondie
tribute band I’ve ever seen. The Hot Puppies run them close though, but make the mistake
of not doing covers. Instead subsitituting poorly written “slinky” numbers about someone
called Terry when they should be murdering “Call Me” or whatever. I actually saw Hot
Puppies a couple of years ago, (by accident), two girls whose mum’s think they could be
famous and some faceless guys who are probably all wrenching themselves apart inside
because they can’t decide whether to crack onto to the keyboard player or the singer.
Rubbish.
