Hydra Head raid their dusty vaults once more, journeying back to the label’s early days in order to puzzlingly resurrect the Huguenots, a gang of fresh-faced oiks who’d go on to grace the ranks of Converge, the Explosion and the perennially atrocious Piebald. Compiling the 10″ they shared with the 7% Solution, an obscure 7″ and a couple of other bits and bobs, this discography roughs and tumbles its way through a series of minor spazzmo explosions in the Gravity / 31G vein, thrashing out a neat enough line in disjointed herky-jerks and strangulated yammerings that, whilst never threatening to dethrone the masters, are certainly more than serviceable.
